I think that came from the fact that the OP said that Fury would never fight Haye, Joshua or Wilder, the implication being that they're better than him and somehow not bums (even though Haye lost handily to the megabum Wlad).

Of course he is, people have short memories. He fought Joey Abell who admittedly is a bum (yet still managed to drop Kabrat Poolev) and was dropping his hands and letting him take free shots. His fight with Steve Cunningham was great, a pure brawl. Chisora I was another great fight to watch.

Fury was facing Wladimir Klitschko, who is regarded as one of the strongest p4p punchers in the world, and was fighting for the unified HW title. Why would Fury engage in a shootout with a guy who can knock down walls? Why wouldn't he stick to his strengths?

Fury plays tag ,hits throughout the fight and only engages in spurts with mostly non committed punches , this is only more exciting if you dont like seeing someone take a tremendous beating round after round ,as opposed to out scoring them .... you are simply penalizing Wlad being to good .

M. Tyson was compared bc he was all business like Wlad , Fury needs to soften his opponents uup which makes the fights more unpredictable ,90's Tyson had more exciting fights bxc his skills eroded, Fury is not the danger Wlad is so his fights are more competitive or the illusion is ....
