Does anyone know when the IBF mando is due? People can say what they want, but the IBF usually follows their rule book to the letter, and mandos typically can only be delayed for unifications.
So Duva may be under the gun from Haymon about the Wilder fight, and may not have time to negotiate with Hennessey, as she will have to figure out which way to go.
But yeah, its not really a good look for her lolComment

100%. Not a bad strategy to pick up a title. Kinda lackluster for the fighter & would really suck if he loses the vacant title fight.
Wonder who gets the shot vs him if Tyson vacates. Charles Martin (he's fighting Breazeale on 12/12), Cunningham & Szpilka are all with Haymon. Teper is injured I guess. Martin might be wise to pull outta the Breazeale fight, although I kinda like his chances there.1. Vyacheslav Glazkov

Yeah, there's a nice bit of hypocrisy there, but one thing I'll never accuse promoters of is being consistent. She's just trying to get her guy a slice of the pie.
Funny thing is I always thought Glazkov was about the most boring fighter on the planet until I saw Wlad's performance on Saturday. Good luck to Duva, but I'm hoping someone just gives Czar some step-aside $s so everyone can get on with their business - that's probably what she's hoping too.Comment

Something here doesnt make sense. I just looked at the IBF website, and in their "results" section ,they list the Klitschko-Fury fight as a mandatory defense. If that is accurate, then Fury doesnt have a mando due for 12 months.
Also, even if the Fury fight wasnt an IBF mando and their website is only referring to it being a WBA/WBO mando, their rules seem to indicate a new heavyweight champ has 12 months to do a mando anyways, as the rule reads "after acquisition".

Not sure why this would go to bid now if its not even due.......Last edited by OnePunch; 12-01-2015, 02:13 PM.Comment

Yup, the IBF is usually the only org that follows it's rules. Mick Hennessy isn't really a big player anymore is he? She could probably win this bid or if he vacates it brings more leverage to the table with Wilder.Does anyone know when the IBF mando is due? Fury/Glazkov can happen before the Wlad rematch and these two fights should cover 2016. 2017 will probably be Fury v whoever is WBC champ then and then a big UK fight....AJ? More likely Haye.
It's a long way to go but Fury is going to make a lot of money.Comment

I think they're saying he has up to 12 months to defend against his mandatory challenger and then he can take voluntary fights.Something here doesnt make sense. The dust has barely settled on Tyson Fury’s unanimous decision win over long-reigning world heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on Saturday night. However, the newly minted Champion has already discovered that boxing moves fast when you are a multi-title holder after the IBF revealed that Fury's mandatory defence against Yyacheslav Glazkov is heading to purse bids.
