Well sure if you wanna take Nonito & Julian doing this as a step in the right direction fair enough. I can't argue to hard against that.

I'm just saying this sorta testing being implemented by someone with some power is key to it really taking off & if boxing was or is every going to get serious about PEDs, which I personally question their desire to do so cuz it opens up a whole other landfill of problems for those same people with power, its what is really needed.

Thats assuming anyone gives a f#ck. I standby people in boxing don't really give a f#ck about PEDs. It just f#cks up events & gets guys out of the game for a year. Gets the NSAC or other commissions some extra money. And the reality is Nonito Donaire has been doing this since he was in the P4P discussion & TR's next big thing & it hasn't changed a thing that I've noticed. So basically to me its a lil wishful thinking to think some 154lb contender isn't gonna lean that hard on the status quo.

He's not starting anything. Nobody does the year round testing other than Nonito and a few other fighters. Let alone doing both USADA and VADA

It's good news. Don't get why he'd want to do both though, seems like throwing money away.

Nonito only did year-round VADA. Williams is going a step beyond that by doing both VADA and USADA year round.

Much credit to the young man. If he becomes a dominant fighter they won't be able to say he cheated to get there, all credit will go to his hard work and to his skills.

Tbh the 2 testing groups sounds ******ed to me & makes me think this is definitely more of a PR move or Julian only barely beats James Kirkland in the home version of Jeopardy. Getting two drug test agencies taking your piss & blood is like getting back to back colonoscopy's...well maybe its not quite as painful but you get my point.

This. He has a very good attitude about the sport in general.
