  • Comments Thread For: Julian Williams To Be First To Do Vada/USADA - All Year

Philadelphia , PA--Undefeated Jr. Middleweight, Julian "J Rock" Williams has laid down the gauntlet to all boxers around the world as he wants to be the first professional boxer to be tested by BOTH USADA & VADA randomly throughout the year.

Williams (21-0-1, 13 KO's), is currently ranked number-7 by the WBC, Number-10 by the WBA, & Number-6 by the IBF, wants to prove to the world that there would be no doubt left in anyone's mind as he continues his quest to become world champion.

Nice PR move, but its meaningless til someone enforces this on all ranked fighters (as Williams himself suggests should be done).

Good move. This thread won't get many replies because there's nothing to hate on.

I would'nt call it meaningless. It has to start somewhere. Big ups to J-Rock.

What's good about it is that it will put some pressure on the fighters who ARE millionaires to do something similar. The question as to why they can't do the same as Williams will be embarrassing for them. This is what I wish Floyd had done from the start when he talked about 'Olympic Style drug testing.'

But it was all smoke and mirrors. Floyd never wanted to clean the sport that's why he never did this.
