EBU heavyweight Erkan Teper is injured and unable to go through with the defence against Robert Helenius December 19 in Helsinki.

To save the promotion with over 9000 tickets sold and PPV in both Finland and Germany the parties involved have with the approval from the EBU reached a solution that reads as follows: Teper relinquish the title and allow stablemate Franz Rill, who was lined up to fight Salvatore Erittu for the vacant EU title on the same show, to fight Helenius for the now vacant EBU title. is it me or is this guy quite good, the replacement that is, could be an upset perhaps? this guy might take some beating.....not sure what his reach is and whether he can negate the jab.

Franz was born in Canada. He will get crushed as his best win is a 8 rd decision over Paul Butlin... Ouch

I don't know anything about the opponent, but that doesn't mean he's no good.

Helenius at this point is a big question mark. He could destroy this guy or get outboxed and outfoxed. Who knows? I have a gut feeling he might get embarrassed by this Rill guy, and I say this as a former big fan of Hellboy. He's got to prove he's back to his best. It cannot be assumed.

Helenius certainly has had his share and more of injuries, cancellations, opponent switches, you name it. Hope he can get thru it all and back to his former self.

After Teper, Chisora? In my opinion should be the winner of Joshua-Whyte. Joshua declared he would like to win the EBU title after the British and Commonwealth titles.
