In my opinion, Wilder would have brutally knocked this version of Wlad out.
Do you believe Wladimir Klitschko will win the rematch?

I have absolutely no idea. None at all.But what is his absolute best?
His whole style and technique is based off fighting the manner he did against Fury. He will have to be the attacker against Fury. Counter punching won't work, because Fury has a bigger reach.
Wlad has no inside fighting, he has merely been clenching automatically on the inside for over a decade. It's like breathing for him. There is no way he will ever fight on the inside. So he's going to have to throw the straight right and left hook a lot more.
He will have to make it a war. I guess one thing to remember is, that we all forget is. Fury was in BIG TROUBLE in the final round. He was actually about to go down and it was all off one punch, one straight right. So Wlad can definitely take Fury out of there.Comment

I think he has a good chance, I'd call it 50-50. The fight wasn't "close" in classical sense (Wlad definitely lost).. but it was such a low-output, non-eventful fight, that if Wlad just opens up a bit, anything can happen. Hell, he may get KOd in the 2nd because he opens up.. but he can also win an easy UD12 because he outworks Fury.
IMO, everyone who says that Wlad will get KOd is wrong. Wlad lost specifically because Fury had no intention of going for the knockout. If anyone tried to exchange with Wlad even for a bit would be facing a different beast than the one who fought Fury.Last edited by j0zef; 11-30-2015, 05:20 PM.Comment

It's over for him. If you look at his fight against Jennings, he virtually fought the exact same way. Difference is he had the size advantage. He is who he is now and he won't revert back to his 2000 era style which is what he'd need to beat fury. I think he should just retire.Comment

I doubt it. I think the biggest problems for him in this fight had more to do with Tyson than Klitschko or anything Klitschko could fix or do differently. If they fought 100 times I think Tyson wins 80, 85 of them.Comment

Wlad never pulls the trigger until he's completely safe and has tired out his opponent with constant jabs, clinching and leaning.
The reason he couldn't pull the trigger on the right hand is because Fury took away his jab.Comment

No. Fury got the measure of Wlad before the fight and now that he knows how easily he can beat him he's going to be more likely to take risks to get the stoppage. Wlad had no answer to anything Fury posed him in the ring and he won't have learnt anything from that one sided loss. He was out thought and out hustled. He can take literally nothing positive from that defeat.
Wlad against anyone else though, he should still be the favourite. Fury's dominance of Wlad is leading people once again to rule his vanquished foe 'shot'. The same was said about Chisora, with absolutely no proof barring how easily Fury beat him. Fury could fight Povetkin, Stiverne and Takam and make them look shot as well. Sooner or later people are going to have to admit that Fury makes his opponents look shot. He's not just some lucky dude who magically happens to catch guys at the moment they become old.Comment
