I think it would be better if Wladimir fought Wilder first.

I don't know what I think anymore! I will say that I expect Wlad to be at his absolute best. Will that be enough to win the fight? I think so, but I would have thought that 50% would have been enough too.

I don't think so. I think Fury went in with the right plan and has Vlad figured out. He will be able to repeat that performance in my opinion. Vlad looked old in there! The reference "Can't pull the trigger anymore" is fitting in this case.

Doubt it. Not like it would have taken much to win those first six rounds, but Wlad couldn't get anything going at all. In normal circumstances it's the sort of rematch that would be 50-50. But not in this case.

I say he loses again because he's not close to the fighter he once was. He simply could not pull the trigger anymore. When age takes the reflexes, it's over.

But what is his absolute best?

His whole style and technique is based off fighting the manner he did against Fury. He will have to be the attacker against Fury. Counter punching won't work, because Fury has a bigger reach.

Wlad has no inside fighting, he has merely been clenching automatically on the inside for over a decade. It's like breathing for him. There is no way he will ever fight on the inside. So he's going to have to throw the straight right and left hook a lot more.

He will have to make it a war. I guess one thing to remember is, that we all forget is. Fury was in BIG TROUBLE in the final round. He was actually about to go down and it was all off one punch, one straight right. So Wlad can definitely take Fury out of there.

He could, but everything looks to be in Fury's favor. Think about a mentally beaten Wlad coming off an embarrassing loss that was comprehensive (first ever loss for Wlad that wasn't a stoppage) and now having to face that man again in that mans backyard with his rabid fans. Fury calls the shots. First time in a long, long time that Wlad can't call the shots. I feel if he was mentally stronger and possibly a few years younger he would certainly have a good chance. But now its basically a punchers chance and only if Fury decides he wants to really open up and put on a show.
