There'll always be hardcores and haters, but I think this fight, plus the massive and positive news coverage it's been getting in the tabloid rags, will really start to shift the general public's opinion on Tyson. You can now no longer confidently make a case that Haye is better than Tyson, and with the amount of nonsense Haye has put the public through I can't see anyone in their right mind really wanting to side with him. He's increasingly looking like a pathetic and desperate figure, a person to ridicule, much as Tyson was before.

Once he loses to de Mori (which I believe he will) people will turn off him completely.

Haye is a POS con artist. I hope he gets shafted and never comes back.

Hmm i'm not convinced. de Mori is a bodybuilder, not a boxer and is a classic cherry pick from Team Gayemaker. I can see him knocking him out despite getting in a bit of trouble and then going on an all out publicity hunt to try and force Fury into giving him a payday.

The trouble is, the likes of Eddie Hearn & Sky Sports would love Haye or Joshua to become the champion because they can control them, they can't control Fury and i believe they'll keep pushing the Haye fight. (Not Joshua yet, even Hearn knows that's a step too far yet for AJ.)

You may be right and I may be putting in a bit too much wish fulfilment into my prediction, but I genuinely feel that Haye's return is nothing but a money making scam and something which he's been forced into against his will. The impression I'm getting from Haye now is one of overwhelming apathy. He's clearly lost his love for the sport and a fighter with no love for his job is one whose heart is not going to be fully into the task at hand. There's also the fact that he's just taken the last three years off and is now in his mid thirties. Whatever the reason for the layoff was, whether it was mental or physical fatigue, it doesn't bode well for his chances, especially given Haye's style which is very much a young man's style and something which can easily atrophy without constant activity to keep him sharp. I know exactly who de Mori is and what his limitations are, and I still think with those limitations he's going to push Haye and, if not beat him, expose him as the shadow of his former self that he's no doubt become. I know Haye considers him a cherry pick but I think he himself underestimates just how far he's physically declined. I expect a shocking Haye performance when (if?) the fight eventually comes round.

Look at this face. Does this look like a guy who's going to come back 100%? His hard partying, stress or whatever have clearly aged him beyond his years. His reactions along will have taken a beating.

Agree with every word as usual. Word on the street is, Haye is in a real mess, completely broke due to bad investments in the middle east, his wife left him due to his constant sleeping around, he's a well known sleaze in Dubai. He's been locked up for bounced cheques. The list goes on.

I was harsh in previous posts claiming that i wanted to see him dead, i don't, but i do want to see him brutally knocked out, twitching on the canvas. If de Mori is the man to do it, he'll make a fan for life.

I also want to see him brutally knocked out and I think we will before he quits this sport for good in what will probably be quite a short while. De Mori's pretty awful but then Carl Thompson, Lolenga Mock, Giacobbe Fragomeni and Monte Barrett weren't any great shakes and they all gave Haye problems.

Every sign I see of Haye, his haggard face, his messy hair, his complete lack of enthusiasm, coupled with the fact that he seems to be broke do not bode well for him at all. I think that mentally he's completely shot and has lost his drive as well as his overall focus. The driven Haye, the brash upstart who knew exactly where he wanted to go and how to go about it is gone. Haye's going through the motions now. In such a state, even a man like de Mori can get the job done.
