WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) wasn't amused when Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9KOs) confronted him at the truTV card at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on November 20th.
The two fighters squared off in June. Bradley was cruising to a dominant unanimous decision victory when Vargas stunned the two division champion late in the 12th round. Referee Pat Russell inexplicably waived the fight off with approximately 7 seconds left in the fight. He would later say that he thought the 10 second signal was the final bell.
