Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley: No One Wants To See Vargas Rematch

WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) wasn't amused when Jessie Vargas (26-1, 9KOs) confronted him at the truTV card at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on November 20th.

The two fighters squared off in June. Bradley was cruising to a dominant unanimous decision victory when Vargas stunned the two division champion late in the 12th round. Referee Pat Russell inexplicably waived the fight off with approximately 7 seconds left in the fight. He would later say that he thought the 10 second signal was the final bell.

Bradley is right, no one wants to see that fight! I don't think anyone wants to see Canelo vs. Bradley either! I want to see Brook vs. Bradley in 2016! Make it happen!

Slow news day? This interview is like 3 weeks old.

Hopefully we can hear his thoughts about a Brook fight.

No need for a rematch. Its time for Bradley to fight the higher level of welterweights. I want to see him against Brook next. Vargas is a C level fighter who did not deserve to be in the same ring with Tim in the 1st place. The fight itself proved that Bradley was simply the elite fighter to Vargas. Jesse threw one hell of a shot in the last seconds of the last round, the perfect shot. Still, it was too little, too late. Bradley was definitely stunned, but still had his faculties to block 2 more of Vargas's shots and then tie him up. Vargas needs to fight Sadam Ali or another top welterweight before he begs for a rematch with Tim.

Bradley is the man left out in the cold. None of the top fighters at 147 want to fight him. That's why his promoter talking about moving up to fight canelo a fight he can't win and a fight nobody wants to see or a 3rd fight with pacman which on one wants to see. That's the only realistic big fights for him. Khan turned down a shot at the title against him this year. Thurman, porter, garcia, broner and the rest of the haymon fighters want nothing to do with him. Brook doesn't want to fight him. His mandatory is Ali but Arum keeps saying that's not a big money fight for Bradley. So who is left but vargas which fans don't want to see again.

Politics is why Bradley is screwed top rank has no welterweights
