You can't possibly be the "undisputed" champion without the most highly recognized championship.
If someone was a three belt champ, and the title they were missing was the WBO, I suppose you could make the case that they were "undisputed" as historically that term meant WBC/WBA/IBF champion.
Although at this point, I do think someone would need to hold all four to be the "undisputed" champion as the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO all recognize each other in their rules now and it's pretty clear the sport recognizes all four now, even Japan finally caved on the IBF/WBO.
Fury is the unified champion and should be very proud, but unfortunately for him, the belt he is missing is the most important one.
Namely, a few mexicans, you and the WBC.
The champion makes the belt. Therefore the the WBC belt at HW reflects a top 5 contender at HW. Welcome to the modern day sport of boxing.Comment

I'M OFFICIALLY THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP OF THE WORLD! Haters can acknowledge it or look foolish trying to deny it. pic.twitter.com/5XpjDf4o8P

Ok whatever dude. Everyone knows Wladimir was THE champ. Deontay Wilder just fought for a belt that Stiverne had picked up.
It's like he's the champion of the second division. league two.
Actually, more like sunday league. but whatever. Tyson is the #1. He's the ring mag champ and universally recognized heavyweight champion.
Wilder is what he is. A title holder and a contender. Not a champion.Comment
