Amateur Boxing got funding from the lottery 10 years or so back and this is the results. Not bad for a ****ty, cold, wet, island with a small population. less than the states of texas and cali combined. less than Half of Mexico ect..

How many are top 10 p4p?

British boxing has clearly gotten a lot stronger in recent years, but in the age of 15-title divisions a spike in titleholders isn't as meaningful as it might first appear.

The Brits have had a great year, but besides Fury and maybe Degale the rest of those guys are ABC titlists.

You can't possibly be the "undisputed" champion without the most highly recognized championship.

If someone was a three belt champ, and the title they were missing was the WBO, I suppose you could make the case that they were "undisputed" as historically that term meant WBC/WBA/IBF champion.

Although at this point, I do think someone would need to hold all four to be the "undisputed" champion as the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO all recognize each other in their rules now and it's pretty clear the sport recognizes all four now, even Japan finally caved on the IBF/WBO.

Fury is the unified champion and should be very proud, but unfortunately for him, the belt he is missing is the most important one.
Yeah but Wilder won a vacant strap. I guess the WBC is the best one, but really it means nothing without the Lineage(Which is like a +2 now with Wilder only winning against Stiverne who won it off of a mediocre Arreola and some domestic level Frenchman).

                      Not really.

Fury is THE heavyweight champion. Wilder has a paper belt which really means little.
