Wrong. It shows how desperate Fury is. Tyson had 5 weeks with those gloves and raised a stink about it what, a week ago? The problem was solved during training camp, Fury was worried that the gloves he used would not be ready by fight time. It was a childish complaint and Fury is a *****. The canvas issue is a joke, I'm sure there was a protective cushion over it since it's obviously cold as hell there, and possibly outdoors? Anyway, the two of them will be fighting in the same ring so to hell with Fury and his EXCUSES!

I can't really see how this would be an advantage to Klitschko actually.

Yeah, really. You think it's only Fury's fans that are bent out of shape about this? Team Fury will be aggravated without a doubt. Compare this to Klitschko, who isn't even slightly bothered by Fury's lame attempts at upsetting him.

I don't believe for one second that they didn't expect him to point this issue out. I jest a bit when I agree that it has much to do with Klitschko, however. Probably the promoters responsible.

I hope Fury takes it respectfully if and when Klitschko outclasses him.

Don't know what your on about mate....the Gypsie community has a set of relations in middle earth...elves who stand 'bout 4 feet tall, and their tv's likewise are very small. The canvas sunk both guys in up to the knees so the elves could get a look at the action on their telies is all! utherrrwise they would get a shot of fury and vlad's midsections!

Seriously though...Vlad is a control freak and if i was going to characterize fury as possibly looking for a way out in this fight I would surely also consider that Vlad was looking to take some mobility away from fury. As it is I would rather assume that both guys just want a fair environment, and that this is something that can be rectified.

Boxing is such a joke. Ring size controversies, glove controversies, now canvas controversies, score controversies, PED controversies, weight controversies, the best not fighting the best controversies.

This should be the best sport in the world but its so horribly mismanaged.

It's going to be a much bigger danger for a mover like Fury than it will for a guy like Wlad who spends most of the fight with his feet set.

A shame to see such a great champion like Klitschko resort to such dirty, underhanded tactics like that
