Joe Louis a 'local figure' eh? May wanna consider using the gizmo you're in front of to do some research. He was certainly more than just a 'local figure'.

Boxing Scene has around 80 staff bringing us some solid info on the sport. For that I'm very appreciative. I guess this article is meant to balance out the many Fury articles where he goes off on his greatness. Nothing wrong with that. We could be surprised though. I mean, there have been way worse odds before with stunning results. I'm as much interested in seeing how Wlad reacts as I am at how the fight plays out. Fury has some speed and pop, and doesn't seem to shut down when he's in a tough fight. Really looking forward to this one.

Are you sure anyone outside USA today and **** Germany 100 years ago knows who Joe Louis is? I have never heard about him before I followed Boxing, and I have never heard about a sport called Boxing before I knew there was an American great called Muhammed Ali Clay; and I'm nothing special, everyone I know is the same.
The only real global figures in the history of boxing were Ali and Tyson. and there is a huge gap between them and the third.

      P.S:
I mean the local people in streets and markets who have never watched a boxing match, not Boxing fans!
