The batman stunt went completely viral, it was all over the internet, the mainstream news, it was being picked up all over the world, Fury was the #1 trend on twitter all day. It got people talking about boxing, people who generally have no interest whatsoever in the sport.

That press conference was brilliant. The batman stunt drew in the people who have no idea about boxing. The part when Fury took off his jacket and offered Wlad outside appealed to the football loving boxing casuals. And when he started talking & breaking down Wlad's resume, that appealed to the hardcore boxing fans.

Yes, the Batman stunt was to sell the fight. But Fury's ego is too fragile to accept being called a clown, the reaction he had to Wlad's taunts was real. No way did he flare up like that to further promote the fight.

If that was the case his nervous father wouldn't have been trying to calm him down while heard saying "dont ruin everything know " Clearly he couldn't take that word! Maybe flash backs of some childhood traumatic event in his life?
