Judging by the name Im gonna assume this kid is Canadian hence how he defends Pascal/this fight. As for your question, how about Kovalev beats the guy who actually BEAT Pascal? We know the judges got paid off that night cause they would rather see Kovalev rematch Pascal (more money) than fight the Cuban.

Ok interesting points. I just do not see anything different happening. If anything, Kov may win even sooner.

There first fight was entertaining and Pascal did one or two good things right, but overall Kovalev was just to much man and just to vicious of man for Pascal.

I agree the rematch will be much easier for Kovalev this time around even though the first wasnt all that much of a challenge in the first place.

Damn I just wish Stevenson had the cojones to truly want this fight and not hide behind Uncle Al.

Come on man, its 2015. Haymon/Stevenson avoided in 2014. Kathy/Kov avoided in 2015.

Kov asked to be the mando, got it, then Kathy asked out of the purse bid. Had she not done that, maybe we'd be having the Stevenson/kov fight in January.

Kovalev will stop Pascal earlier and definitively in this fight. His toughest fight on the horizon is Ward.

Pascal might learn that everytime you give Kovalev distance to extend his arms, that's when his power manifests. Pascal was doing well when he went inside the first, not try to outbox and counter on the outside.

True, but the problem is Kov also learned about Pascal in that fight. By the look of Pascal against Gonzalez, he also took a little something out of Pascal in that fight.

Pascal might say fxck it and go balls to the wall. He has the chin to trade with Kovalev, and the power to back him up. Whatever he does, I just hope he doesn't repeat the strategy from the first fight.

I think that would make the night go much quicker. Maybe I am putting too much into what Pascal looked like against Gonzalez. I just can't see how he can beat Kov given that and their first meeting.

That's the beauty of boxing brother. Pascal may do something great, though you and me both are not expecting him to. Any motivated fighter has a chance. Heart has negated skill many times in this sport we love.

I didn't expect Froch to beat Taylor. Didn't expect Foreman to beat Moorer. Didn't expect Chavez Sr to beat Taylor. So and so forth.
