Me personally, I think Guerrero is a good match up. (It doesn't hurt that theres the whole Ruben vs Angel thing either). I'm happy that they are not throwing Danny in there into the welterweight division, and instead they are blending him into the welterweight. We don't even know how good Danny is in welterweight division. So how can Guerrero be a bad match up? People think Danny should be fighting Kell Brooks, Thurman or Porter (even though they both have fights with each other), but these established welterweights aren't fighting each other as well. How are people expecting Danny who isn't really established as a welterweight to do what these other welterweights aren't even doing? It's the Puerto-Rican American vs the Mexican American. ***** I'd pay just to see Ruben vs Angel in the build up.

What's wrong is that it's not Garcia vs Khan which is what I really want to see! Besides, Guerrero's best days appear to behind him... -
Guerrero is a bit washed up but Garcia is no world beater especially at Welterweight. It should be a decent fight but I just dont like it as the headliner of a somewhat important card.Comment

I really like Robert Gurerrero but this fight makes no sense for either he or Danny. The whole idea that we have no idea how Danny is at welter, as if he's a complete stranger, is a piss poor argument. The guy has been getting gifts and questionable opposition for so long, people are just sick of him. He needs to do something to earn fan respect again. He can't hang his hat on matthysee and Khan wins forever, especially since both of those are looking less impressive all the time.Comment

Yep and I thought it was a good fight until Garcia caught Khan with his patented hook. I think both have grown since then and I'm interested to see how it would turn out.We already watched that, didn't we?
Actually I'm a fan of both Guerrero and Rios, more so Robert because I like his family man image. People just want Garcia in a match he'll get KO in.
How many people are complaining about Crawfords first 2 fights at 140. Let Garcia ease into the division if he keeps winning you know he'll face the Top Guns soon enough.Comment

Gotta disagree with the bold in regards to Matthysse! Matthysse looked damn near unbeatable and was in the discussion for a Mayweather fight had he beat Garcia. The fact that Garcia erased Matthysse's aura of invincibility should never be minimalized....I really like Robert Gurerrero but this fight makes no sense for either he or Danny.
