I'll take that bet. Canelo will be fighting someone else in May cuz 1)the fight wasn't scored close, 2)even though most feel it was closer than the cards few think it was THAT close or controversial outside the the wideness of the cards & 3)it was a boring as **** fight.

Outside of the fight seemingly doing good numbers (900k+) there is zero reason for a rematch.

I do agree there is lil chance GGG vs Canelo happens in May. I think Bradley or Lemieux are probably the top two likely opponents.

Yeah the scores are ridiculous. But again when all you land is pitty pat punches that do no damage its hard to justify giving you the rounds. You may have landed and threw more but didnt land anything effective. I could see it 9-3 Canelo. Ill have to watch it again and closely. At least they got the winner right. For Gods sake this is boxing for crying out loud.

I wouldnt want to watch Lemieux or Bradley fight Canelo. Quillin vs Jacobs winner? Hell I dont know who makes sense for Canelo.

I think the scores were wide because cotto didn't want to pay his fees so the wbc did him in

I think is more of an HBO agenda to push Canelo vs GGG and they make sure just in case

I Agree Scoring Was Stretched Kind Of Like Floyds Loss To Maidana In First Fight

Floyd was shut out the first 7 rounds in the first Maidana fight. Are you telling me Floyd wins last 5 rounds and somehow gets a hometown decision???? STFU Floyd Junior. It happens with judges. We've seen it go the other way where Bradley got a decision over Pacquiao in their first fight, when Pac schooled him all night. Canelo beat Cotto 115-113 or 116-112. It was still decisive, no need for a rematch, the result would be the same or worse for Cotto. I clearly don't need to hear from Floyd, like he's the final authority. He lost to Oscar too if you want to really question scoring. Floyd needs to go back to school and learn to read.

I had it 8-4 for Canelo. The right guy won but the score cards were way off.
