Comments Thread For: Arum Sounds Off on Lomachenko-Rigondeaux Possibility!

Coming into last weekend there was some talk of rekindling a match-up between WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko and former 122-pound belt-holder Guillermo Rigondeaux. This pairing would be one between two of the most highly decorated amateur boxers who have found professional success.

But Rigondeaux, who just recently made his Roc Nation Sports debut this past weekend against Drian Francisco on the Miguel Cotto-Saul Alvarez pay-per-view undercard, was less-than-scintillating in winning a clear cut ten round decision. The boo-birds and catcalls could be heard early on at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas as he performed.

so much for lomo talkin so big while his promoter uses excuses...and then he goes on to make possible beef with roc nation...

if haymon and jayz ever put a lid on their so called beef it would be very easy for them to promote pbc cards and a really good pr move for pbc..

Uncle Bob is surely getting his political doctrines mixed up here. In communism there's no such thing as merit - everyone is artificially forced to be "equal", with no opportunity to get richer than the worst dregs of society.

In capitalism (which he subscribes to), it's about how much money one can make and rip off as many people in the process. He's thinking of a meritocracy, where achievements and merit does indeed matter. That's how it should be anyway.

But yea, armchair view only. He's still salty that Rigondeaux sonned his boy Donaire.

This fight must be made !!! I got rigondeaux beating Loma ; either at 124 or 126 .
Let see if Loma is going to trough punches : donaire didn't , agheko didn't . Nobody wants to engage rigo , nobody . Why ? Cause rigo makes them miss and punishes them hard .

We all know that rigo is a defensive counterpuncher , ok . Well , let Loma makes the fight to him , will he dare ??

Rigondeaux is a winner , a defensive counterpuncher, Loma would be the agresor . Good fight .

Make it happen arum , do it : and rigondeaux will once again expose your golden fighter .

Hit and not be hit ; hit and not be hit ; you can not hit what you don't see . This is the game of boxing , and rigo is one of the best and a winner .

                    Make it happen bob ....
