Haye has always been selective whom he faces, it isn't an exciting match up but if he fights a live dog next I'll be happy with whoever he fights next, is it really any worse than who Fury and Wilder have faced to date with the exception of Stiverne. The answer is a conclusive no.
I had low expectations, already, but this guy is a joke. The doorman at my local boozer would put up a better fight.

Heck, Haye probably has better sparring partners.

Who is promoting the fight? I am yet to see footage of the presser.

De Mori is ranked 10th in the WBA, it's a signal and statement of intent IMO. Now I am no fan of Haye but he hasn't fought in three and a half years, it really is not a bad come back fight. If he selected De Mori after a ring rust shaker I would have issue as I did with his Barrett, Ruiz and Audley run.

I don't understand the issue with it, he beats him by big KO and he's ranked in the top ten of the WBA immediately, then he has to face a live dog, hell he could be facing Joshua or Teper after that. Let the man have a warm up ffs no ?

I can't say I'm overly receptive to the idea of Haye just gate crashing in after all this time but he's playing the game and system and why shouldn't he, if his shoulder is good and he's ready to go he's an addition to the division. Certainly a top ten guy in its current state if he still has his best attributes, speed and power.

I would like to see Joshua vs Haye, if Haye vs Fury was ppv I'm certain this would be, likely the reason he is back, we get to find out if Joshua is the real deal or he is just another over rated, china chinned bum like Price was. I honestly think the only ones disliking this Haye return are shyttin theirselves Haye is gonna burst the Joshua bubble, desperately clinging to Joshua as the man to defeat the villainous Klitschko who has caused them so much heart ache and butt sores over the last decade.

My expectations were also relatively low, I'm just not all that concerned about about him fighting a top ten guy after three years out. As it is I feel it's a good comeback opponent to look good against and get yourself momentum for a potential ppv vs the hunk of British boxing right now, AJ.

I don't think you've ever seen the guy fight.

Audley Harrison at anywhere near his best would absolutely wipe the floor with this guy with no problems at all.

Of course Haye vs Joshua would be PPV.

It would be the biggest heavyweight clash in Britain for decades.

Is he headlining the card at the o2? If so, wow, this will bomb.

Shock me, when was he at his best ? This I am in suspense waiting for, whilst you are in your suspenders applying your lip gloss.

So you do not want Haye to gather momentum leading towards a potential blockbuster ? Are you that insecure and worried Haye would defeat your new British poster boy and potential opponent to finally dethrone Darth Steelhammer ?

                I sense butthurt.

Wasn't their rumours circulating Haye vs Fury pre sales were low and possible reasons it never came to fruition.

You seem to think I think Harrison was ever any good This is a reflection of how absolutely awful this monk guy is. The fact that you're trying to say this guy is better than a former Olympic gold medalist and european champion as well as a former 2 time world champion shows how little you know about boxing

Lol wtf. You honestly have a screw loose I think. Where do you get this stuff from?

The guy he's fighting is horrible. No two ways about it. But he's entitled to fight who he wants to fight as he's been out for so long.

Why would I think Haye is on the juice? The guy has been a power puncher with explosive speed and sharp reflexes the entirety of his career, from cruiser to heavy.

                      Povetkin has not.
