don't care who it is, i'm tuning in. hayemaker was the most electrifying man in the heavyweight division. it hasn't been the same since his departure.

I dunno. He took a pretty safe route to the Wlad shot and fell off the map.
Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz, Harrison were all old, spent fighters. It doesn't seem like he would come back to fight Povetkin, a brutal fight for which he would receive little attention in the UK.
I think he wants to take a few warmups then position himself for either a shot at Wilder or whoever gets Wladimir's belts. He sees two roads to another payday, almost guaranteed.
He would humiliate Wilder and I'm sure he knows it.
More importantly, he has a big enough name and mouth that Haymon might actually let the idea marinate.Last edited by ////; 11-23-2015, 07:45 PM.Comment

The guy hasn't fought in over 3 years.... talks a lot of crap but fails to deliver (ie: Klitschko).... and yet has people fawning over who he's going to fight next?
How pathetic this division is.Comment

People are fawning over it because the division is great right now and he would have lots of potential opponents. Plus, f@g or not, he has an exciting style.Comment

Povetkin juicing? Well Russian labs' rep has been under scrutiny lately . . . .Haye's shoulder being back to 100% or as close t oit as possible is very important for his style. We'll see soon enough. I think if he is back as the 30 year old Haye, fully fit, he beats anyone out there, except Wlad and this rejuvenated...juiced?...version of Pov who seems to be knocking guys out with glancing blows lol
Haye v Perez might be interesting actually.
You seriously think Haye has never juiced?!Comment

That enthusiasm will stop once people see how diminished he's become in the interim. Haye's going to look like a slow old man when he returns to the ring against whatever scrub he's fighting, and the idiots who've paid (yet again) to watch his boring ass will leave feeling shortchanged and frustrated. Good. Such ******ity deserves punishment.Comment

It's hard to see how he can be that great now he's mid 30's and been off for 3 years.
Not that his age is a problem at HW but 3 years of inactivity at that age is definitely going to cause a problem.
It's a shame he "retired" after Klitschko and then Chisora fight. So what he lost to Wlad, neither guy did anything in that fight. He knocked out Chisora in a way nobody else has managed.
He is an exciting fighter and had a lot of speed and power, he could have still been in a lot of good fights and won. It's a shame he never really had the heart or desire to be in the mix.Comment
