Why wouldn't i be able to let it go? I don't even have a preference between the fights but the fact is Lewis stopped him in 6. It's done.
Let it go, bro. It's okay.

So yeah, they did fight, Lewis was finished and still beat him. I've never seen a win be denied so much by people. Lennox caused that damage to Vitali's face in the fight and he got stopped. I don't get why people can't see it. Fair enough it was competitive but Lewis did a number on his face in the end.
I love how everyone says how "out of shape" Lewis was, but neglects the fact Vitali took that fight on two weeks notice!

Probably because Klitschko before the fight said he had been training for the past year in preparation (he had been the mandatory).

How was he the mandatory ,Lewis declined him 4 times before the match was made. Lewis took the fight thinking Vitali an easier target with little preperation to who Vitali was training for when the Lewis camp offered him the fight .

Ironically Vitali step up in competition from sub par fighters to Lewis is the same thing Fury is doing with Wlad except Fury is no Vitali !

He had been the mandatory for nearly a year, I believe.

You really need to reassess what 'shot' means in boxing.

They were both in training, just not for each other.

And for those saying Lennox was out of shape....

Dumb thought as an additional 6 lbs for a 250 lb man is equal to basically nothing. Lennox could have skipped dinner the night before and had a sh&t that morning and been at his prime fighting weight.

                  SO...just drop the b%ll****.

Was this directed to someone? Because I don't recall discussing whether Lennox was in shape or not. I don't have to make excuses for him seeing as how...he won by TKO

In practice it probably wouldn't have been a good fight, despite the tales of their sparring sessions getting out of hand. More like a display or exhibition. And yes, two brothers fighting who adore each other as much as they do is kind of a sick idea - I've said that a few times in the past after I became a supporter of both. But the morbid curiosity will always be there - who would've won and how gigantic would the event have been.
