550K? Guess PPV is really dead. Thanks to the 'Give Less Than 100%' cons May and Pac.
PPV early results: Canelo-Cotto 550,000, Rousey 750,000

No problem.
I look forward to the official HBO announcement of 900,000 buys so you'll be proven correct...an official announcement that will never come, because public companies cannot misrepresent their business in official public communications.
If there's an official HBO aqnnouncement - not Rafael referring to an unnamed anonymous source - then I'll be happy to admit I was wrong.Comment

One thing is for sure, Rousey lost her fight and thus her PPV numbers have peaked. She will likely never reach those viewership figures ever again.
While Canelo won his fight and thus can expect to get even more viewers for his next PPV.
One is trending upwards and has a bright future while the other has to rebuild but might not be able to regain what was lost.Comment

Really? If you look closely, UFC's announcement didn't say "U.S." or "domestic" PPV buys...
If you don't think a big UFC fight - one of the biggest in recent memory - can generate 250K PPV buys outside N. America, then you don't know jack about PPV.Comment
