IMO it's GGG. There is no question about what he can do in the ring-box, cut off the ring, land with power. He has elite skills, just a hair below Floyd, rigo, Jmm and ward.

The only question I have is how he would use those skills against better competition.

        Well it's...

        Campillo, Cleverly, Hopkins, Pascal

        or

        Geale, Murray, Lemieux, Rubio*

        * interchangeable with Stevens, Macklin, Ouma or someone else

P4P I'd say GGG is the better boxer but Kovalev is the harder and more devastating puncher. Kovalev is also the more dangerous fight for Ward because Kovalev is physically bigger and stronger. I would pick Ward to beat GGG but I don't know if he can beat Kovalev.

I'm still of the belief that GGG has fought the better opponents.Hopkins was 50 when he fought Kovalev, put in that position,i think GGG would of stopped Hopkins that night.

Nah, Ward wears him down takes GGG out of his element and wins a UD over a frustrated GGG.

I think the eye test says GGG is the better fighter (not a debate in my mind, he seems to have it all IMO). That being said Kovalev has the better resume currently. So I guess you would have to weigh which of those factors you value more if you were going to rank these two on a p4p list, but like I said in general GGG is the better fighter.

He has proved it against better comp in the ring
