Please, Canelo made it clear he is only interested in fighting guys who don't run. He had enough of that nonsense with Lara.
Lara got his shot and wasted it, he doesn't deserve another one.

GGG-Lara is a good fight, nice contrast of styles.

Good! GGG needs names like Lara. Hopefully at 34 he has learned, will take fight and wont make same mistake again. But they think GGG is bigger than he really is so they probably will.

I like the fight, but you have to wonder how the money would ever work. People b*tch about Monroe, but K2 only paid him $100k. Lara just made $1mill for Delvin Rodriguez. Stephen Edwards said he'd expect Lara to get between $2-3mill for GGG - no ****ing way that ever happens.

I wonder what these new fans will think about Whitaker, loche, and some other fine boxers, face first is the name of the game, Sugar Ray was a boxer and will engaged if pressed, the thing is, he fought everyone with a name but he will not put his face to be hit, Lara has only fought a guy that really make him fight, and it was the best night angulo had in his career, I have to mention thought, that the ring was made for a guy like maidana and angulo and not for a boxer like Lara, wasn't fair and we did have some issues with the memo that never got to perro, the one that he couldn't hydrate more than 10 pounds, but the Cuban have to watch, if you are the best you will adjust to any style, period, not look for excuses because he is a "runner", by the way is very hard to run on a 18'x18' square, or smallest...

commonsense kicks in. People love to use Monroe example but forget to mention that Monroe was possible for regular HBO because of his low asking price as Monroe truly believed he would come there and win and get the notoriety. Lara knows he has a major uphill battle, he can run around and if he makes it to a decision but he isn't winning it, he likely won't settle for anything less than 1 million. If the purse for Lemiux and GGG was big enough to put them on PPV then forget it because they aren't going to put Lara Vs. GGG on PPV and HBO won't pay enough to make it on regular HBO. It sucks cause i want this fight to happen just so that all the Lara fans (or more likely GGG haters) stop talking about this fight... it just won't be competitive. There is a difference between being the best name on a resume and being most competitive fight. for hardcore fans Lara is a known name but he will not be competitive, running doesn't win fights vs. GGG Monroe tried it for the first few rounds (even though he isn't as good of a runner as Lara) and it didn't work at all. GGGs counter Jab is way too good for Lara to jab and move... it is a mismatch.
