I actually would of paid to see GGG/Lara. GGG supposedly is the best at cutting of the ring?? Lara even as a runner is better than 99% of the ppl GGG has fought.

Lara needs to drastically change his fighting style and get some exciting wins to erase the bad taste in fans mouth from the canelo fight. Until then fans won't care about him and won't pressure big name fighters to face him.

He can't. Like Rigo they're just made that way. It's in their DNA. They're not use to being hit and when they do they can't take it. When they feel the other guys power they go into a shell of retreat, Jab, a few punches here and there, take little risk rinse and repeat round after round.

He won't ever make new fans because they more than likely will never give him another big fight again. He's blown many opportunities.

Please. Lara won the first two rounds but by the 3rd when he felt Nelos power he went into retreat mode and ran the whole bloody fight. The few head shots that Nelo landed on the runner that night had him shook. By the 9th Nelo had Lara bleeding and retreating.

Golovkin doesn't have to make sacrifices because he doesn't sit around crying like a baby when he doesn't get the fight he wants. He moves on, destroys his opposition stays active and works hard to build his own fan base. Something guys like Lara never even tried to do. At the time, GGG wasn't as talked about as he is today.

HBO didn't want to pay Lara what he was asking, so they went with Monroe, who cost less.
