i think some of you guys are just blinded by the canelo hate. Canelo won this fight.

Half of you guys are also saying Trout beat Canelo. That was EASY work for canelo.

The only close fight that could have been a draw was Lara.

Thought it was a relatively close fight as well. Haven't watched it back yet, but Canelo's inactivity is ridiculous at times. He just does nothing for minutes at a time.

Cotto wasn't seriously affecting Canelo with his shots, but he was landing them in much greater volume. With pro-Cotto crowd he'd have been in with a chance of getting the decision.

Canelo clearly won. It was not very close.

Cotto landed some good jabs, the rest were pitty-pat flurries. Canelo controlled the fight, landed the better shots and won at least 8 rounds.

I watched it, with a Cotto fan commentator, and still gave it to Canelo 9-3, 8-4 if you push me.

Cotto was robbed. That's the reason why fans continue to make threads.

People are making threads cuz giving Cotto only 1 or 2 rounds in a fight the majority of fans deemed closer is f#cking nuts, incompetent or corrupt. The "Cotto was robbed" crowd are mostly cats who got Cotto in their ava &/or sig & woulda been all like "Canelo was clearly on PEDs" if Cotto woulda been KTFO.

This fight was underwhelming, both fighters fought carefully and didnt leave everything in the ring. I expected more fireworks, drama, heart etc. But both just fought preserved and it was actually quite boring.
