I'm saying Golovkin probably beats Canelo. Are you saying Canelo doesn't even have some success in the fight?

There's a poll on The Ring webpage -- more than 97% of the voters say that Golovkin wins... Almost 92.5% think he wins by KO... (3,568 votes)

I think Canelo has the tools to beat Golovkin. I'll agree that Golovkin is the best middleweight in the world right now, but that honestly isn't saying much. His other "competition" at 160 is Andy Lee and Peter Quillin, the former getting KO'd by Chavez Jr, and the latter struggling to a draw with the former lol.
I can see Alvarez going after Lee or Quillin if Al Haymon is willing to play ball. That would force Golovkin to take his mando against Eubank Jr, and then they would fight during the second half of 2016.
But Team GGG will not give Canelo a couple of fights to prepare for 160.
They don't roll like that.
They will refuse to give him a catchweight, and they will demand the fight NOW, knowing that Canelo will walk..... because they would prefer to be elevated that to fight Canelo.
The funny thing is..... I STILL see Golovkin fans sporting that "anyone from 154-168" schtick.

Casual fans be real stoopid LMAO
They won't let Canelo have a couple of fights to prepare for 160.
And I know why.
And Canelo has been fighting both at 170+lbs and against 170ish lb fighters for a coupla years now. Angulo, Kirkland, Lara and Trout are all basically MWs who boil down to 154 - why would he need to acclimatise to MW, especially given the widely held belief that 160 is an inferior division?
