Wasn't making excuses. Point was and no one except you argue differently is that Canelo weighed 15 lbs over cotto. If not 15 damnn near it. Don't even need the scales just look at the two next to each other. Focus on the arms and you can see Camelot arms were twice as thick as cottos

also it gives 8 and 12 to canelo, which imo were cotto rounds.......
      8 and 12 were canelo's best rounds.

What we found out last night was that Cotto is a rejuvenated fighter under Roach. His level of fitness and his mental toughness has gone up. His chin and heart were amazing last night. What Canelo did was not easy. Noone Cotto's size beats him or goes 12 probably. Pipe down and give props where they are do.
I blame Canelo for giving Cotto fans a chance to talk , What Canelo needed to do was to put him away

maybe I had 8 wrong. I remember my card giving cotto 1, 4, 12, and I thought 8, but maybe it was 6. I should have written it down lol

8-4 canelo. Lol at people trying their best to give cotto a win. Some of you guys flew under my radar. Didnt realize many of you were Mayweather, Pacquiao level stans. At best you could make the fight a draw and thats if cotto got the benefit of the doubt every time but giving him the W? Lol

I had canelo clearly winning, but truth is, he needs to finish some of these top guys.

None of his best wins are really impressive.

Canelo proved all he needed to prove in the ring. This is the most complete version of Cotto, who has been rejuvenated under Roach. His toughness, level of fitness, and chin were very impressive last night. What you have to understand is that you don't "put Cotto away", in that fashion. Even plaster in paris couldn't put him away. He is very tough. He's tougher than he gets credit for. Canelo CAN crack but Cotto said you know what? I am not going to be stopped, today. Give credit to Canelo for beating an A Level fighter in Cotto, This was a legacy win and now Canelo is at his physical peak.

GGG will silence this punk. kazakh thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He would have stopped him If Cotto didn't run around the ring in circles avoiding the action, If he looked for a fight he''d have got KOed but fact remains for every little light jab Cotto hit Canelo with Canelo was landing the more flashier, telling shots that did the damage.

Canelo gets hit = he doesn't budge
Cotto gets hit = he is budged and runs away from the action

Judges need to score ring generalship you know that and its only fair, Cotto didn't do himself any favour he didn't look like he was in control of anything off the backfoot.

pity pat jabs dont count as much as clean, effective power punches

He doesn't trust his stamina, he's constantly pacing himself in fights. That's why he went hard in the 12th because he didn't have to worry about gassing for the rest of the fight. The move to 160 is overdue.
