I think I was too hard on him, maybe from watching a low res stream I cant see the impact of his shots well. These are mostly counters, I think his lead offense can still use a lot of improvement, he needs to throw feints a lot more, cotto was able to anticipate his lead shots every well. And then after feints also change the speed of his punches the way mayweather does to change it up.

That left hook feint to a right uppercut was one of the very few feints he threw and it landed perfect, i wish he did that more.

The way he landed his counter and then ducked under cottos, ive really only seen floyd and pac do that recently. that takes a high degree of talent and athleticism to pull that off.
