Some people hope for world peace, some hope to end famine and poverty, you hope I'm not referring to you. Great news, I was

I'm not saying he didn't win a single round, I said he didn't win a single round definitively. He lost a lot of fairly close rounds......but man did he lose all these rounds impressively.

Yea, gonna have to call bs on that one. Cotto was not landing as much as you think.
No, Cotto was landing more than bs punch stats which I never, ever mention in arguments as there is nothing to it. I've said this for years.

Canelo threw a lot of punches that Cotto blocked, the idiot running compubox probably scored those shots.

He may have landed a little bit less and harder, I can agree with that, but not more. Corruption is rife.
I watched the British feed and they were all about Cotto early on, and never showed any punch stats. I still had it wide as hell for Canelo.

I had to ask because I'm in no way a Cotto fanboy.

And I think most of the rounds were close and that he didn't look bad in any of them. It was a competitive fight against a top fighter so I think there's much more to Cotto than some might have.

so those "top guys" that cant seem to beat him, are you "impressed with them??

Fair enough. Yeah, I didn't think Cotto looked bad per se. But neither fighter looked great. Both were a bit tentative and almost afraid to risk being great.

Not a fan boy either. I like both fighters, but neither is a favorite of mine. With that said, I was leaning towards canelo. I was curious to how the scoring would turnout. I honestly thought canelo won like every round but 1, however, he won them in a narrow fashion, so the score could range anywhere 115-113 canelo to 119-109 canelo.

The disparity in this case was justified and the right man won.

I'm impressed he's fighting them all but not impressed with his performances, he also benefits from favorable judging each time out.
