Not saying that it wasn't the right decision, but he had no intention of fighting a healthy Andre Ward, ever.
Ward wasn't ready to fight then.
    He's not fighting now.
    He's wasn't even fighting at 168.

GGG said he would go down in weight for a big fight. Well, here's a big fight staring him right in the face.

It meant investing in winning the high risk Ward fight to ultimately make the Canelo fight build to where people think Canelo can win then its huge , right now people dont think that Canelo can win .
because going up to 168 and then back down to 155 for Canela is so easy right?

        ******ation man...

GGG offered a 50/50 everything, that's quite frankly not bad for Ward. Nope, Ward is the diva and Ward gets what he wants

That's great but he shouldn't have to go down to fight for a title in the same weight class, it's ridiculous. If canelo still fought at 154, sure go down, but how youre okay with canelo demanding a guy drop five pounds to fight for a mw title is mind boggling. The real issue in this instance is canelo not ggg.

He shouldn't have a problem going down in weight for a big money fight. He said he would.

But if this is too much of an issue for him then he can pick up the title when Alvarez vacates it. No need to cry about it.

Lol yeah, go down in weight for a fight in a different division. You guys are absolutely ridiculous thinking he should have to go down in weight to fight for a title in his Own weight class. Then you have the nerve to compare it to asking for a catchweight, 164, in another division. You guys are so biased and irrational it's nuts. You dont even realize how absurd what you're saying is.

Canelo and Triple G will not fight anytime soon...IMO Triple G isn't a household name yet where as Canelo has fought Floyd and casuals know his name...It always comes down to $$$...they'll wait to build it up...

Golovkin doesn't HAVE to do anything. He can pick up the vacant belt if he insists on not meeting Canelo's requirements.

Austin Trout, Perro Angulo, and Lara aren't household names either.
If Canelo wants to be MW champ he has to prove it vs the best fighter in the division(also his mandatory)

That's true but money always plays a factor in making these type of fights...IMO Canelo has the edge as far as A side and B side...its risk vs reward and Canelo can fight lesser names for more $$$ than Triple G can...Canelo being Mexican has a bigger following and can dictate negotiations to a certain point...Canelo is asking for a 155lbs catch weight which I don't like but I think 157lbs would be fair...
