Canelo just won the lineal middleweight title and is refusing fight the unified champ at a weight even close to middleweight.

That is a duck. Period. Canelo is ducking Golovkin. I wonder if the WBC will actually strip him like they said they would if he is going to try to keep ducking GGG.

Why should it be catchweight? GGG has fought at 160 for ages no? Middleweight is 160 so the championship fight for the lineal championship should be at the traditional limit. Alvarez is bloody huge what's he afraid of?

Watch Golovkin reject the 155lbs catch-weight and Canelo then move on to fight Rameriz at 164lbs.

highly doubt it. canelo is the love child of wbc and golden boy promotions. he was gifted his first 154 wbc belt and gifted his first 154 ring belt. now they will protect him from ggg.

canelo is a frickin light heavyweight on fight night and yet won't fight at 160 limit????? hahahahahaha give me a break. canelo at his SECOND WEIGHT CLASS has to fight at catchweights.

Having Canelo's name and a PPV fight matter more than that belt for ggg, so he better be ready to play ball and negotiate or all he gets is another sanctioning fee.

Yeah but all of that doesn't get you paid, nor does it give you a legacy that's more than what-ifs. If he wanted to establish himself fighting Ward may have been the right move.
