Id rather a GGG fight sooner than later and Canelos momentum off this fight would make that fight HUGE if it was to happen next...makes too much dam sense. We know how that goes.

Canelos only getn better and his head movements been on point since the Trout fight from what ive noticed and hes definately improving as a boxer from fight to fight...well rounded fighter. He has a shot at GGG as the more experienced top level fighter albeit at 154-55. Stylistically he has a legit shot as well.

      Great win for Canelo!!

I can't see an argument for Canelo in this fight.

Nah, it's not about the weight in this case

catchweights can be a huge *****.

a fighter who's forced to move down an extra amount of weight can find himself in big trouble if his body doesn't respond like he wants.

He'll spend more time worried about making weight and torturing himself with diets and dehydration than focusing on the fight itself. He'll waste valuable time that could be used for actual training, and when he trains, he'll be weak as ****. This will give the opponent a huge advantage come fight night. Look what happened to Chad Dawson and Geale, two guys who struggled a lot to make the cw, the guys were weakened zombies on fight night and easy prey for their opponents

GGG is levels above Canelo (and im a Canelo fan), but he's never fought below MW and he's 34, there's a big possibility the cw will affect him badly. and imo, that's what Canelo wants.

that's why cws are tricky, and should be avoided if possible

GGG claimed for a Floyd match at 154, those words are biting him in the ass right now. Canelo won't budge with the cw
Canelo has been fighting at the 155 for over a year. The only reason he'd ask for a CW would be to hurt GGG because Canelo knows that he can successfully drain himself. **** what GGG has said, he has yet to actually prove he can perform well below MW.

I hope GGG doesn't acquiesce to a CW because he shouldn't have to. Let the WBC jump through hoops in order to protect Canelo, and let Canelo fight the likes of Heiland and Magomedov so that he can become more acclimated to the weight lmao. Canelo will probably ask CWs of every MW just to keep up the facade, but he would probably beat Heiland without one.

                .
yeah, Canelo is basically trying to do to GGG the same thing that Floyd did to him.

[QUOTE=JaguaresMx;16254579]According to GGG tards, Canelo is actually bigger and GGG is a small tiny LW, even willing to go to 154

So its on GGG to call the bluf of the A side and take it

He cant be the first C side to make the demands

According to GGG Tards. Canelo is a GIANT and GGG is a Featherweight. How many times has GGG went up in weight??? NONE!!! In fact he's gone DOWN since his amateur career. After he went 1-1 against Andre Dirrell.
