Canelo has always had good head and waist movement that compensates for his slow legs
cotto bradley at 154 or 152 is watchable..more even...bradley faster cotto stronger..same typle of compact styles..
of course bradley has welter fights, but hey its a business and he could get good money

I'm a huge Cotto fan and I'm rican, but I had canelo winning, he just threw the bigger effective punches but it wasn't a one sided fight. A fight with GGG vs canelo would be fun!!

skills pay the bills, Canelo was just better and more efficient with what he brought to the table, cotto wasn't.

Cotto did well in spots, but he was just getting countered all day with clean punches.
not countered all day..he got countered for the first minutes of the round and then basically fought an even fight after being hurt...
cotto looked overtrained and his punches didn look as crisp as with those guys..

Lame scorecards but the right guy won the fight. Canelo looked too big for Cotto. While it may have been a good fight plan for Cotto, Cotto couldn't execute it effectively.

Cotto got hit with a few uppercuts and straight right hands and a few body shots that made him more apprehensive than Roach would have wanted.

Huge Win/Huge Night For Golden Boy

Great win for Canelo. He has improved leaps and bounds since that boxing lesson he got from Money May. Cotto should fight guys at 154 his power shots didn't have the same effect that they usually do.

I don't think we get Canelo/GGG the first half of 2016. I think it will be the second half. They need to come to some form of agreement of that.

Saw the emergence of a Franciso Vargas. Great to see a guy who moves from prospect to Champion. Imura I hope we get to see in the states again. He was extremely impressive. Might be fight of the year. Hopefully we get a rematch between these two by the end of the year.

Ronny Rios got a big time win. Hopefully he gets a guy like Gradovich next. Then get a rematch with Castellanos.

Golden Boy needed a sweep tonight and got one. Great performances by their guys and a great card by them and Roc Nation. (Could have gone without the concert tho)
