I'm nowhere near a Haye fan or apologist (I'm pretty indifferent on the guy), but a stone cold journeyman isn't a bad decision for a guy who's been out 3.5yrs. And this is one of those journeyman fights you can hype a lil bit cuz this cat gots a nice record & an 11yr, 25 fight unbeaten streak going on so its not THAT bad a journeyman choice assuming this news is legit.

Good comeback opponent for Haye, it's time to shake off the rust in a tune-up. Let's see if Haye can come back and shock the boxing world once again by becoming heavyweight champion with the same devastating power and speed that domesticated Valuev and knocked out Dereck Chisora - a man even Vitali Klitschko couldn't stop! That was a win that sent the older Klitschko into permanent retirement never living up to his press-conference promise of facing the winner of Haye vs Chisora!

I can see a title shot scenario very easily unfolding in just 3 fights since the division isn't deep at all. Haye just needs one decent win against a top contender (like Fury, Stiverne, Jennings) and the title fight is on with either Wilde, Wlad or Fury if he beats Wlad. One year max.

This - especially if he's going to feature on the Dec 12 PPV card.

Obviously we all want to see him against a known, solid HW, but, as ever with Haye, we'll have to wait.

I've seen De Mori fight live. He's pretty fast and can punch some. If he can land a clean punch he can score the upset. But that's a big "IF" Haye not known for a huge chin so not a bad first fight. Some intrigue
