Atlas and Oscar are both some mushes.

Hopefully they cancel each other out.

Has Canelo ever performed well through the championship rounds in a big fight? Faded against a 36 year old Shane. Buckled against Margarito. Wilted against Floyd. Not really a 'big' fight but he was basically absent against Trout from 8-12.

Is he going to finish strong against Canelo? I don't see it. Cotto's big chance is in Canelo's discomfort with the pressure fighter role. But Canelo has improved in that respect. Was much more effective in cutting off the ring against Lara than he was against Trout or Floyd.

That "drained" excuse won't work to discredit Cotto's victory, this time. 155 is the weight Canelo prefers to fight at. If anything, Cotto, at only 153, is the one giving up weight advantages. I'm sure people will find something to say; they always try to discredit his victories. They'll say it was because Canelo trained too long, or something. But, make no mistake, this is the biggest fight in boxing right now, and I don't think anyone will be able to diminish the credit Cotto gets. Tonight, Miguel Cotto proves he's the best Puerto Rican fighter of all time.

That will be the excuse if Canelo losses, that he was drained. It won't matter that he been fighting at that weight, for this fight it affected him.

The problem with Canelo could be that he over trained. He was training once the fight was in the final stages of negotiations

The Atlas curse in full-effect. Cotto should've used that $1.1mill he saved dropping the title and paid Atlas to pick Canelo.

Canelo at 25, is young enough he can get away with severely draining himself. If he was older like Rios or Geale, he'd be water logged trying to rehydrate in that short of time.

                    - I dont see it man, Canelo looks to be in incredible shape. This might be the best version of Canelo we see to date. Cotto has his hands full for real man. Its going to be a great fight.

He did look pretty dried out but it wasn't really to the point where you would say that he will for sure be ****ed. It is a possibility I think depending on how much he gain.

If you see him sucking on a piece of candy or an ice cube constantly that is a sign things have gone a bit awry.
