vargas has a point that he couldve knocked out tim in the last fight. but that's just that. he has no point in arguing for a rematch and he doesnt deserve it.

Vargas wants an immediate rematch because he knows if he fights anyone else 1st, he'll lose and never get another opportunity. He is simply a hype job that didn't work out. His career is pretty much over as a fighter who gets exposure. He had his chance and blew it. And yes he did catch Tim with a monster shot, but yet it didn't drop him. Tim still had control of his legs and blocked 2 more shots that Vargas threw and had the sense and awareness to tie him up. There would have been no knock out and it makes Vargas look stupid to even make it an argument. He made himself look dumb when he said that Mexican fighters are tougher than Black fighters, when it was him who got weaker and showed less confidence as the fight went into the later rounds. Now he is embarrassing himself by begging for a rematch. Vargas...please stop. Be a real fighter and go and get some impressive wins on your resume and earn a rematch against the Champ!

Vargas lost 11 rounds. Theres no need for a rematch unless Vargas gets a decent win under his belt.

Who gives a phuck about both these bums anyway? Bradley is just another certified Khan ducker and that's pretty much his single career "highlight" lets face it.

You know where all this confidence in Vargas is coming from? It all started when rumours started to fly about the possibility of him getting a Pac fight, which Algieri ended up getting. It's also related to the manner in which Pac got KO'd by Marquez after which every fighter were suddenly focused on executing the same ending. Rios tried it, Bradley tried it, Algieri tried it, not to mention many others in many non-Pac fights, Vargas included.

As the rumours flew, Vargas focused his training on executing the Marquez KO, with Roy Jones' by his side. Vargas managed to try and execute it several times in his DeMarco fight, but was short of KO'ing DeMarco. (See the YT video.) Nevertheless, it boosted his confidence.

Vargas then employed Morales as his trainer for his Bradley fight. (Possibly because RJJ was busy and didn't have time to train.) And it's possible Morales gave him tons of tips to win fights in any fight, but Vargas kept his focus on executing the one-punch KO, which was probably dissappointing to the great Morales. The fight with Bradley kept Vargas on his backfoot the majority of rounds.

...don't know how to end this post, but Bradley is right. There was never any interest in a Vargas rematch. It was a lackluster performance from the Vargas side throughout the fight. He was out gunned like an amateur and overwhelmed by Bradley's aggressive performance.

Bradley's confidence is a direct output of stopping Brandon Rios.

Side note: I LOVED how Tim came across both in and after this exchange. It struck back to the old days of fighter press. Loved every second of it. Now we just need Shannon Briggs to photobomb and throw out some "LET'S GO CHAMP!!"! every now and then. Bring a pie.
