That's the difference between boxing and MMA, you don't just learn boxing at 28, it takes a decade to learn how to box and most people who set out to do it aren't very good and quit long before that decade. Rousey can improve her boxing, but she'll never be a decent boxer. She shouldn't have even tried to box Holm, but I don't think she had a choice.

You can learn most disciplines in MMA and be good at them in a much shorter time period. Save for maybe wrestling

Rousey was not in shape or condition to fight Holm and it was apparent as Rousey looked entering the octagon. Fat flabby and over confident. But keepin mind Rousey is a fake media creation who has never faced one credible skilled opponent who could punch and move. Rousey was made to look clumsy awkward and with lead feet by the mobile Holm. Rousey's stand up skills are horrible and Rousey has zero defense. keep in mind Judo only works when an opponent is coming towards you not pulling away as Hold did. Judo is worthless on someone pulling away with their weight. Holm was just a better conditioned opponent who exposed Rousey finally as a fake and fraud with few skills. Cyborg would have Ko'd Ronda years ago if not kept from Ronda. Rousye is not a good person and deserved to be KO'd and Humiliated. Look for Rousey to never fight Holm again or Cyborg ever. Rousey is not that good to beat either and would get KO'd by both and embarrassed. So glad it's over for the de****able, vile, mean Rousey.
