Oh I can't wait - I like Cotto and Canelo. I'm leaning towards Cotto as a sentimental pick; but they're both great and I'll be happy regardless so long as its a great fight.

And...if either of those two had to tangle up with GGG, I have no doubt that they'd both beat GGG.

GGG's best win is still...idk Daniel Geale?
Well, what can you do, when there are divas like Cotto who are ducking the mandatory and holding a title hostage until last minute?

Cotto fights for the money and for his family, we got it. I wonder why Cotto didnt fight GGG instead of Geale then?

You keep bringing up GGGs resume and at the same time justify why your beloved fighters are ducking GGG. You dont make sense and you have no common sense, just bias and fanboyism

Cotto fought nothing but crippled and drained fighters in the last couple years, i mean to drain Geale to zombie state, the guy, who just got knocked out badly by GGG, thats surely a class act by Cotto.

How long ago was it that Cotto was totally outboxed by Austin Trout? Do you have an idea what GGG would do to Cotto?

Leave the ranking of fighters to people without fanboy glasses and bias, to people with some insight and knowledge of the sport. You will realize that GGG is ranked above GGG and Canelo rightfully so and if any of these fights would get made, GGG would also be a huge favourite. Why? Because GGG is so much better than Canelo and Cotto.

I am wasting my time here. You are just a troll, you don't even watch boxing. You sound like a biased fanboy with absolutely no insight of the sport.

          1. Geale was a voluntary; not sure what the harm is in that voluntary if he's still testing the waters at MW. GGG has a career full of fighting guys washed up and those coming from lower weight classes. During the build up to Geale/GGG all the rhetoric was how it was his greatest challenge, fighting a fromer 2-time MW champ. Why is a big deal if Cotto fights Geale to further establish himself at MW? Curious why its a good fight for GGG and not for Cotto...a guy who's 5'6, 34 and has been a pro for 14 years at that point and started at Jr. WW.

You want his second fight at MW against the supposed "best" MW - however you aren't demanding the same standards for GGG.

You aren't clamoring for him to go to 168, how many tune ups would be acceptable? Of course you aren't going to answer, it's rhetorical.

          2. Yes Cotto lost to Trout. Trout fought the fight of his life and Cotto did not. Trout and GGG fight nothing alike, so your point is irrelevant and triangle theories have proven to be crap.

And all I do know is that if Trout moved up to MW and fought GGG, he would still easily jump up and among a top 3 fighter in his resume

          3. Last point...GGG would be favored because he's bigger, that's it; not because he's "better."

Yet you have an avvy trying to discredit Danny Garcia who has one of the best resumes of any new generation fighter. But hey, I'm the troll and biased fanboy...

And you are calling me a troll because I believe Canelo and Cotto are both superior to GGG.

You have extreme butthurt but it'll never change the fact that Canelo and Cotto are greater than GGG and would most likely dismantle him

Canelo has no leverage. What is he gonna do, not fight? Imagine that. Golden Boy is good for boxing doe.
