Mayweather took a risk against the same guy Canelo is fighting. And still kept his 0.

And everybody called Cotto washed up. Now he's miraculously a top level fighter again 3 years later.

Anyone trying to discredit Canelo imo seems like a bit of a tit the guy has prove he is willing to fight very hard fights at his weight class, some forget he's only 25 yet he's achieved so much already I have no doubt about it he already is a HOF'er especially If you consider Cotto to be one.

Canelo has a great attitude and yet there are idiots online who claim he's ducking fighters at 154. Even though I thought he lost to Lara, he was willing to accept that challenge and fight a very dangerous opponent. He fought Austin Trout to get that Mayweather fight.

I love the aggressive attitude, it's common with 20 something's but that also means lots of room for making mistakes. I could see Roach setting traps later on in this fight and try knocking Canela out late. The last thing a young man wants in front of him is an old Vet that can keep up the stamina while giving

To be fair to Canelo, he wanted to fight Lara not too long after being took to school by Floyd. He didn't need to take that fight and most said he wouldn't.

Lets see if he's true to his word now though about the risk and see if he fights his mandatory GGG if he wins the title on Saturday.
