  • Why is Oscar ripping Cotto for dropping the WBC title?

He did the same exact thing before Mosley 1

OSCAR DE LA HOYA continued his stand against sanctioning fees, so his promoter, BOB ARUM, will pay the World Boxing Council for Saturday night's title fight. Arum would not disclose the amount, which was reportedly discounted by the W.B.C. president, JOSE SULAIMAN. The standard rate is 3 percent, which would have meant a $240,000 deduction from De La Hoya's $8 million purse.
''I'm doing this for the fighters,'' said De La Hoya, who hopes his example will lead to negotiations for lower fees or perhaps a cap.

No one knows what Oscar is doing anymore. The guy is all over the place at the moment.

Pressure of this Saturday is getting to him.

can you believe the wbc was going to get 300k from each fighter and 25k from each promoter and for what? they dont do anything 650k for a title?
and also this year the wbc got money for the giggi interim title fight in the same 160 weight class

DLH been talking mad **** lately, besides it's not like Canelo's going to fight GGG so if he does win he'll be dropping the title also.

When a non black boxer makes a "good business decision", it's wrong.
