It's between mayweather and fury. I'd give it to Fury, but mayweather will get it because the voters probably aren't too thrilled with furys comments. You can't go wrong with either, but fury should get it for dethroning Klitschko

        It comes down to...

Leo Santa Cruz: Picked up his 3rd belt in his 3rd division in a fight that many consider Fight Of The Year.

Tyson Fury: Ended Klitschko's 9 year reign as Heavyweight Champion.

Saul Alvarez: became lineal Middleweight champion defeating Miguel Cotto.

Jack has had a good year.

After what Fury did, i'd give it to him.
I prefer the winner to have a couple of good wins in the year, but that can't always be the case.

I'd pick between GGG and Canelo
Too bad Floyd didn't want to man up and fight Khan in September because If he beat him then there would be no doubt who would have won it instead he fought Berto.

Giving it to Fury makes as much sense as giving it to Mayweather, Mayweathers win is better on paper and skill wise but both Fury and Mayweather didn't follow up with many good fights
                  Berto
                  Hammer

You need consecutive good wins imo
                  Lemieux
                  Murray
                  Willie Munroe Jr

Is more than worthy of FOTY, three solid fights against good opposition Munroe never KOed before, Murray never KOed before and Lemieux stopped with ease all fights won by stoppage and impressively as well.

Our options for fighter of the year are non existent with Haymon hiding all of his fighters from real fights.

I still can't believe Crawford won it last year with that resume.

Least Crawford was knocking people out though and winning fairly convincingly I'll take that over someone who's only had one good win this year but the performance being crap to get that win.

Fighter of the year award should absolutely take into consideration how well the fighter performed and entertained the only reason I'd give a pass to Floyd with getting FOTY is If he topped the Pac fight with another semi decent win against someone like Brook or a Khan regardless of performance because that is quality wins you can't expect to get FOTY with just one good win when the fight absolutely stunk the joint out this is exactly why neither Fury or Floyd deserves it.

Canelo, GGG, Roman Gonzalez, Bradley and Povetkin would all be good candidates with quality of names and good quality on display, I can't remember this 2015 a fight that any of those guys put on that I disliked or was bored with.
