Fighter of the Year 2015

Whose looking to be fighter of the year? i know theres a month left but who would you choose for this year? Lets take a look at a few:

Terrence Crawford - 2 stoppage wins over Dulorme and Dierry Jean

GGG- 3 stoppage wins over Murray, Monroe Jr. and Lemieux

Roman Gonzalez - 3 stoppage wins over Viloria, Sosa, and Leon

Lomachenko, Postol, Canelo if he beats cotto or vice versa? Klitschko if he beats Fury or even Jamie McDonnell with his 2 wins against Kameda in Texas?

Whose your guys picks?

Id probably go with GGG or Roman Gonzalez

Canelo and Cotto are still in with a shout, depending on who wins and how they win. Fury beating Klitschko would easily make him fighter of the year. If that doesn't happen, probably have to go with Mayweather.

Kovalev and GGG are up there but Loma and TC have had a wasted 2015. Postol has a shot at upset of the year but far from fighter of the year.

I was really impressed with Chocolatito's last opponent. The guy wasn't in his absolute prime but he put up a hell of a performance even though he lost.

What if Lomachenko had moved up to 130 and won a title there? Would he be the FOTY?

I like Golovkin a lot too, but don't think he should get FOY. Only Lemieux fight was a challenge and was for a belt. I think someone who did something great or unexpected should get it. If Cotto prevails, I'd give it to him. Otherwise someone like Postol or TC may be most deserving.

I think the way you need to look at it is how would the current MW champions deal with guys like Lemieux, Murray and Munroe Jr.

Personally I think Munroe would give any of those guys a hell of a fight, I certainly see him outboxing Andy Lee that's just my opinion you've seen Lee get outboxed before and then land that big shot so you never know.

Murray he'd give any of the guys in the top five a good fight, not sure he'd beat Quillin or Jacobs but he'd certainly give a good show of himself like he did against Sturm and Martinez

The three fought this year is pretty good, it could look better for GGG if Murray takes that SMW belt off Mr Abraham at the weekend.

Mayweather would have been a stone cold secure for FOTY if he had done that.

Now? I don't know. Probably Canelo if he wins. Mayweather could still do it. Klitschko, GGG are also in the hat.

Gonzales has really cemented himself as a top fighter this year. Maybe him.

Yeah totally agree, I think Floyd only has himself to blame on that one though so I don't think he could complain If he doesn't get the nod for this years FOTY.

I get the feeling Gonzalez is highly likely to get the FOTY award, noticed as Ring Magazine P4P #1 yep lol I will guess it will be him.

I think Floyd would be in the runnings if he fought khan or bradley but berto at this point in his career was not going to get him fighter of the year unless he brutalized him.

Tyson Fury is FOTY. I don't see how anyone can argue against it. He just outboxed Wladimir Klitschko, a feat that many thought was impossible to do.
