Damn, who put the bowl on Cotto's head to cut his hair? Not a good look. To top that off, they couldn't even get the bowl straight. His sense of humor is very odd.

AND..... the way that the WBC have BLATANTLY paved the way for Golovkin by laying out the red carpet and removing all obstacles.

They should have waited til they got paid

If triple G is the mandatory it gives no more options. Triple G is such a heavy favorite against both guys that is not even funny.

Lets face it, triple G only wants to face either guy not only because it is a very winnable fight is where he is going to get paid the most.

The funny thing is that ppl will defend triple G in getting his payday and when other do it they call it a duck. A fight against Cotto or Canelo is not a fight to decide who is the best MW in the world. It will a fight between two popular fighters
What's worse are fans defending such a ******ed way to determine who is best in a division by making up false realities. How can GGG be the best in the division without fighting the best in the division? People sh it on Golovkins resume for the lack of names, and yet defend the named guys from avoiding him.

This should be a simple, universal understanding among boxing fans but for some reason it isn't which is there needs to be structured organization, rules to follow and general order. What we have here is the lineal champion fighting a guy who fights exclusively at an invented division of 155 pounds while the mandatory to the belt in the actual real weight class gets denied the opportunity because he doesn't fight in an imaginary made up weight class and fans are OK with this and then blame Golovkin for wanting to fight for the belts in his own real non-made up weight class? Only in boxing can this **** happen and only boxing fans can defend this kind of idiotic logic.

I agree with your point " universal understanding among boxing fans ".

Lets see if it applies in this case.

Be honest with me, because it's a simple search.....

What did you think about the Golovkin/Ward 164lb catchweight demand ?

As a Floyd fanboy, you probably didn't know that mandatory challengers for world titles even existed. But yeah, that's kind of how it works when the champion isn't called Floyd Mayweather.

CANELO is on pace to be the lightest weight ever going into a fight. He has no business fighting above 155. Either Gennady meets the weight or he can eat Schitt. He's been a super Middle for 12 years, he's due up before Nelo! GGG is the R Rousey of boxing period!!!!!!

                    1) Mayweather had already proven himself at the highest level many times over

                    2) Mayweather fought the best..... and if he wanted to fight a guy who was BETTER than the WBC mandatory, then he would do it..... like Wilder should do with Klitschko

                    3) dat 3% doe

The only fighter who can win the WBC Middleweight Title said this.....

" I have no interest in middleweight "

If he comes in under 154, there will be bodies on this site
