BoxingScene.com recently caught up with WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (20-1-1). This site recently reported that WBC President Mauricio Suliaman and Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. were both on board with a potential Jack-Chavez Jr. showdown. Chavez Jr. is currently rehabbing an injured hand.

Jack said that he is very interested in facing the former WBC middleweight champion and said that he would would train for the version of Chavez Jr. who stopped current WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee in 2012.

I may have to re-watch, but Lee was ahead on the cards simply early in the fight off activity and the fact that Chavez let him hit him and could eat the punches. The harder hits were coming Jr, and he went ahead took over and ended it midway through.

To your second point, damn. That really does show its the weakest in boxing as of now.
