Look I think Floyd avoided every biggest threat at the time in his career besides Coralles and Castillo...
But... to say Floyd wasn't good for boxing is ******... Floyd was the highest selling PPV star... The Berto fight will still be higher than any other PPV besides Canelo-Cotto and Floyd-Pac...Comment

Actually, the Genaro/Oscar/Floyd situation is very similar to the Hatton/Floyd/Manny situation. Oscar beat an undefeated Genaro, but didn't beat him in his natural and best division. Similar to Floyd's win over Hatton. But Floyd was the first to beat Hernandez at jr lightweight, and did it for the lineal strap. Just like Pac was the first to beat Hatton at jr welterweight, the division he was ruler over.Comment

Addiction is never resolved, and him acting like one little stint in rehab fixed him lets me know he's susceptible to falling back. Especially all this bitterness he's spewing, it sounds like he has already; isn't letting go part of the program?
And yes he's a terrible promoter.Lucas is all but done. He sacrificed Lemeuix as soon as he got a belt in a fight that no one saw. Canelo was big already due to Shaffer positioning him on every Mayweather card. Since he left Canelo's ppvs have done dirt and this is supposed to be the second biggest fight of the year, but probably won't outsell Mayweather/Berto. Sadam Ali has been passed over his shot at the WBO multiple times because Bob Arum isn't interested and Oscar needs Arum to run his company. AND Wilder Stiverne wasn't his fight. Wilders a Haymon fighter, stiverne is Don Kings. It was on SHO, I don't know why you would think that was a De La Hoya fight.
Let's just assume that until or if Oscar relapses let's assume that he has resolved some of his past issues.
Secondly Lucas is not done. He fought a hell of a fight with Provo and underestimated Postol. There are still plenty of big time/entertaining fights he can be put in.
Lemeiux wasn't ready for GGG. But lets face it he did as good of job as anyother Middleweight who has fought GGG. He deserves credit for having the guts to face him. He's only a few quality fights away from getting another titile shot.
If Canelo was that close with Schaffer he would have left Golden Boy and signed with Al Haymon but that didn't happen. Cotto/Canelo will get over a million buys. If you think it will do less than Mayweather your kidding yourself.
Sadam Ali will get his chance against Bradley before April. That will be the true test for him.
Wilder vs Stiverne again was a Golden Boy fight. There was Golden Boy banners all over the place.Comment

For what he has, he has done a lot with. And he has way more fighters than 3 just a FYI
Not sure if you actually watch BoxingComment

Huh??
Matthyse Lost/quit
Lemiux tkod
1st ppv of the year Flopped BADLY
Lost the right to promote the biggest fight of the decade.
Jinxed Rousey(she probably wants nothing to do with him ever again)
And I recently found out he a PEDO
Only thing good was Canelo beat Kirkland lol
David Lemieux also fought 2 of the top 10 Middleweights. N'Dam and him was a good fight. GGG he simply wasn't ready for. But who else has been for GGG
In regards to his first Pay Per View it did horribly plain and simple. We all as boxing fans move on.
In regards to Pac/May yeah he lost the right. So what you want Oscar to keep complaining about that fight?? Isn't that why people are getting pissed at him now for not shutting up. Hopefully he moves on
So he put Rousey on Ring Magazine. So what? She 's not the co main event to Canelo/Cotto.....It's a cover of a magazine. What's worse what Oscar did or allowing James Toney to fight Randy Couture?
So based on the main stream fights he has put on who has done better than he and Bernard Hopkins?Comment

2 fighters so far lost and lost big in fights that very few saw but in bizarro world thats good promotion.
Like i said if Canelo loses you will be here screaming GBP had probably the greatest year everComment

That makes no sense. So if Lucas and David would have won their fights that would have been good promotion. Seriously???
And no if Canelo loses I will not be here saying that Golden Boy had the greatest year. You can't equate a fighter winning to his fight being promoted well.
Golden Boy Promotions lost 15 to 20 quality fighters to Al Haymon at the beginning of the year (that might be a low number), and all I am saying is that with what he had left in his stable he put quality fights that the fans wanted to see. He didn't hide them. Number 1 that's not his purgative and number 2 he couldn't afford to hide them. Oscar would have been ridiculed for making miss matches with his main stable of fighters.Comment
