Nope. Ggg stepped aside in exchange for 800k. Contract performed. No money back

Geez Cotto already paid GGG a leave me alone bully fee of $800,000. GGG is coming back to the school yard so Cotto is vacating the area LOL

            Now he's refusing a 300k sanctioning fee, which is about (10m guarantee+~16% of PPV profit=~~another 5m) 0.3/15 = 2% of his purse.

I agree with WBC - this was just plain greed by Cotto's camp. He was either going to lose the belt or vacate it, so he chose not to play by the rules because it suited him.
            Yup

What wbc supposed to sanction for free. Cotto isn't fighting for free. Wbc deserves their fee. It's not like they got a cut of ggg step aside money. They allowed the step aside so they can sanction Canelo v cotto. Now cotto is cutting them out. Wbc got the shaft so they retaliated by stripping him. Seems fair to me.

1- this is about money, if you think otherwise your new to boxing.
2- you people praising Canelo now, because you think he's paying the sanctioning fee your going to look ****** tomorrow when he too announces that he is not paying the sanctioning fee and therefore not competing for the belt he would have vacated immediately following the fight.
2- those fans who were planning to buy the fight yesterday will still buy it on Saturday, this fight for better or for worse is bigger than the title.

I think you're reaching man, If you're too small for the middleweight division why remain in that division after the Martinez fight why not just go back down to 154lbs why play the victim when other middleweights want that title off you?

Cotto is vacating the belt after how long holding it hostage, that's the problem.
Didn't Golovkin agree to step aside money? Seems like he didn't mind Cotto holding that belt hostage.

GGG will never have to fight again. All he has to do is say he wants to fight dudes, and they offer him cash.
