more like 10%.....im just assuming he is not a "brother"

I find it funny how white people try to tell someone about what they experience on a daily basis

Im sure Roy Jones would know a bit about the topic.....He was by far the best fighter of his generation in the 90's but he hardly had any endorsements and didn't receive the Hype of Oscar De La Hoya, who was one of the best and charismatic but wasn't on the same planet talent wise as Roy

Same with Julio Cesar Chavez...he was supposed to be J.C. Superstar and got a gift vs Taylor and a gift vs Whitaker

Whitaker was more accomplished and the better fighter, but Chavez got all the accolades, Adoration and hype.....Whitaker was also the best of his era

It happens all the time in boxing

and to those who are quick to claim that broner/floyd(flamboyance),ward (inactivity) do it to themselves, still have no answers for the "good" ones in your eyes like crawford, wilder, bradley, charlos, quillin, jacobs etc

the attitude dont matter at all when it comes to a black fighter, thats the wholehearted truth, the american public aint gonna like them regarless of how they act. so they see it as a opportunity to play the villain role, might as well gain those extra haters(fans)

There is a stereo type of the brother man. Its that they are loud ,obnoxious ,moronic, cheaters, along with
A false sense of superiority and they dont pay child support. They are mostly hustlers and drug dealers .

They bust a drive by, they curse often ,they have a high rate of black on black crime. So in essence they are looked at as uncaged animals who cant be trusted.

You have your few who walk a straight line and a few who try to seperate themselves and live normal and cut themselves from the cloth. But like i said, 80 percent ruin it for the other 20 percent.

No disrespect, its just being honest.
You walk by a group of 4 black guys at night anywhere and most peoples first thought is , they might try and mug me.

I will cosign this.......Im black and I definitley feel like a lot of current discrimination is from other races giving blacks a chance and getting burned or just seeing black people act like uncivilized animals. And yes 80% do ruin it for the 20%.

Ward, Bradley, Thurman, etc are all charismatic and stay out of trouble but get no hype...none

America will never be comfortable with people of color dominating a combat sport...to them is a slap in the face and contradictory to them wanting to be seen superior....that's what America was built on.....The natives were "savages, and uncivilized" and blacks were "animals, ******"...all the while they are dealing with their own inferiority complex.....Its sad it was only 50 years ago when black fighters started getting title shots with out working with the mob, throwing fights, or dealing with the color line

Sounds like sour g****s by Roy. He's upset no one in America wants to see him fight anymore. But it's not because he's black it because he sucks.

I mean Roy is hardly commentator material but HBO still pays him big bucks to talk.

GGG got endorsements and Ward had endorsements until he fuqued that up. Mayweather is a convicted woman beater and Broner isn't even on that level.

There's many white fighters, black fighters, Mexican fighters, and Asian fighters that don't have endorsements in the sport of boxing. It's a niche sport and the few that get them are usually just lucky.

Bradley is really the only one that deserves endorsements but it is what it is.

And race does play apart but just like black fighter might not get a role because of skin color same goes for whites, Mexicans, Asians and purple people.

                      Just the unfortunates of life.
