HAHA jokes on you WBC Prez!
So you would rather cotto/canelo whoever wins that fight chickens out and relinquishes the lineal title rather than man up & fight GGG would you??
If so NEVER let me see you call yourself a BOXING fan!!!! The ballet forum is 2 doors down canelo, cotto & Mayweather are already members

Yep, they are manufacturing a star, the easiest/quickest way possible.

      I prefer real fighters.

Don't be dumb. Golovkin will gladly fight at 158 despite the posturing in the media.

And by the way, calling golovkin "hypekin" makes you look extremely ******. A guy who knocks out everyone as a professional, has been openly ducked by champions for almost a decade, and before that had an amateur record of 345-5 while beating many so called top fighters is just hype? Ok. Cool story.

          what??
i love cotto's style but i wish he'd face GGG (and obviously GGG will win), but we all know retirement is what cotto is going to do after canelo fight
maybe a giant paycheck with mayweather 2 for winner.

I don't think the WBC is going to make them fight. Canelo's sanctioning fee is higher than GGG/Lemieux fees combined. That's a lot of money the WBC will be leaving on the table.
Unfortunately, that may not have too much to do with it.

You may have noticed, the WBC seem to have laid out the red carpet for Golovkin.....

Taking it upon themselves to issue a number of press releases.

            * confirming that GGG is the winner's mandatory

            * confirming an immediate mandatory

            * taking it upon themselves to publicly confirm that a catchweight cannot be implemented unless both party's agree

            * taking it upon themselves to publicly confirm that the winner will be stripped if Golovkin does not agree to a catchweight..... wtf? (why did they feel the need to suddenly issue a press release confirming that?)

The WBC seemed to have gone to a huge effort to smooth the way for the WBA champ Golovkin.....

I wonder if whatever donation K2 made to the WBC " we-luv-us " fund, seems to be working?

What is worse..... a JMW dumping a MW belt because a MW hypejob refused to give him a catchweight..... or breaking Hopkins record without facing a single world-class fighter?

              Take your time.....

And oh, the question relates to what is worse for boxing.

I guess they'll just miss out on the sanctioning fees for the rematch then.

Same reason why people give excuses why the Ward/Golovkin fight shouldn't happen. They are b!tches who pretend to be fans of the sport but celebrate every obstacle to making big fights happen.

What's funny is both the haters and the fanboys don't even realise they are exactly the same. It's quite sad to see apparently grown men acting like teen girls after their first periods fawning over these guys like they are their favourite boyband member or ranting at them like they've criticised they favourite boyband members hair or something.

To be honest, I'm not convinced that a lot of these guys are not teen girls who got banned from one direction forums for being a little too obsessed.

So basically, the title is going to be vacated and is going to be handed over to GGG on a silver platter. Okay. Got it.
